We are collaborating with MPRG (Machine Perception & Robotics Group) of Chubu University to develop a cloud-based video recognition engine using Deep Learning.
With the rapid expansion of the service robot market, the computational resources required by robots for video recognition and other tasks are becoming an issue. In response, we are aiming to develop a system that automatically distributes the recognition process of AI (Deep Learning) to the cloud side according to the processing status of the robot and network conditions.
Chubu University MPRG (Machine Perception & Robotics Group) has obtained 6th place in the world at Amazon Picking Challenge 2015, a robot development contest sponsored by Amazon.
