EthCC (The Ethereum Community Conference) is a conference where the Ethereum community around the world gathers to deepen exchanges through presentations and workshops. The conference, now in its third year, was held in Paris, France over three days from March 3-5, 2020.
Kazuaki Ishiguro, Chief Blockchain Architect at Couger, took the stage for the second year in a row. Couger was the only Japanese company to speak at the event.
This year, more than 250 speakers, who had passed the conference's screening process, presented sessions on Eth2.0, Scaling, zk-SNARK (Zero Knowledge Proof), and DEX (Decentralized exchanges).
Ishiguro gave a presentation on C.R.E.A.M, zk-SNARK based protocol for public elections system, a zero-knowledge proof protocol developed by Couger.
The zero-knowledge proof protocol is a technology that is expected to be used for electronic voting, etc., and is attracting attention as an example of social implementation of blockchain.
