RACHEL quickly provides the optimal information needed by store managers, supporting smooth store operations. With the expansion of the installation of RACHEL, generative AI enables voice searches of operational manuals, allowing for immediate responses to inquiries related to cash register operations, staff training, and emergency response.
Supporting Store Manager Operations in Approximately 7,000 Stores
RACHEL has been introduced to support store manager operations since January 2023 and has been installed in approximately 7,000 FamilyMart stores as of the end of July 2024. This achievement leverages Couger's natural language technology, gaming AI technology, and rapid data processing search technology.
Voice Search of Operational Manuals Made Possible by Generative AI
In traditional store operations, operational manuals for tasks such as cash register operations, service product acceptance, staff training, equipment operations, labor management, and emergency response were searched using terminals installed in store offices as needed. However, with RACHEL equipped with generative AI, flexible voice searches are now possible, reducing the burden of store operations.
Additionally, through RACHEL, it has become possible to check sales performance for past similar initiatives, such as discounts and coupon campaigns, enabling the reflection of planning and merchandising based on the initiative content and past sales performance.
